School Started.

Cassidy started Ashley Academy last week and loves it! She got her new lunchbox and rides to school with Aunt Jamie. Her teacher is Miss Elizabeth and she gets to swing at recess.
Kasey started back to Northeast State full time, just one more semester there then transfering to ETSU. She is juggling full time mom, student and working 40 hours a week. Must be nice to be young and have that much energy.

Let them eat cake!

Cousin Jordan (my niece) has cut her hair. The pictures show she can look good no matter what she does with it. Soooo not fair!

Cassidy attends Victoria's Birthday Party

Nothing is more fun than birthdays at the park. Cassidy went to a friend's (Victoria) birthday party at Warrior's State Park and had a great time. The slide picture is fuzzy because it is a "bumpy" slide. It has rollers that you bump down. Warriors Park has turned into one of the kids favorite destination because of the new park they built for the kids. On Saturdays' you can't get parking, so many people are there.

It's Fun Fest time! Everyone is very busy this week. Last night the kids went to the outdoor big screen movie down on Ft Henry Dr. Mattie and Timmy have gone to the Natural Tunnel State Park, Swimming, Fun Expedition, had pizza parties and a lot of other activities with camp and Fun Fest. Timmy especially enjoyed the football camp at DB. They have received T shirts, bags, candy and a lot of other Fun Fest items. The parade was great, Cassidy and Mattie both gathered bags of candy and loved the horses. This weekend is the balloon glow and lift off and fireworks.

Wm Pauls Bakery Business Journal Article

The Business Journal of TN published a two page article on the bakery this week.

Father's Day 2009 was a quiet day. After a few hours at the bakery making muffins and sourdough starters, we loaded everyone up and went out to Boone Lake. Everyone had a good time just swimming and relaxing. Cassidy got to use her "Dora" float, Mattie and Timmy got to show off doing flips off the rope. Paul got his yearly sunburn, and dozed by the water.

Last week when we had the day off on sunday, we decided to ditch the bakery and head down to Gatlinburg. We wandered around for a while, the kids ate chocolate covered crickets, everyone had one of those giant corn dogs from the arcade and of course Kasey got her fudge.
