Tammy, Jennifer and Rebecca

I did want to mention something about the girls. When they found out neither church service had enough acolytes to serve, they graciously volunteered for both Christmas Eve services and also brought the two coffee cakes for the midnight mass. They didn't want Christmas messed up just because no one would volunteer. They have decided to do the New Years Service instead of staying home to watch the parade with us old people.

The new youth group is getting ready to start in January so we will be busy organizing and preparing for that. The kids have some great ideas so hopefully we will be able to implement them.

Love the RAT

All my toys I like, but rat is still the best!!

Cassidy and Books

I still LOVE my books!!!

Cassidy, Kasey and CW Christmas

Cassidy of course had Christmas at her house as well as Granma's house. She has more stuff than Daddy can find room for! Of course nothing can take the place of "rat" these days. So if you run a cross the beanie baby 'Cheezer" pick it up so we have a replacement just in case!

Roan Mountain

Yesterday we were able to go with Christopher, Devin and her parents to look at a potential wedding site. It was absolutely beautiful. The pavilion is right by a pond and backs up to the woods on Roan Mountain. As you sit in the pavilion, you are surrounded by the forest. The lady that owns the property was very unique but a very nice lady. If they choose this location it will be a wonderful service (as long as it doesn't snow in April).

Jamie and Lynn house update

Many of you have asked for new pictures of Jamie and Lynn's house. They have all the walls framed. The electriction said Jamie wants enough plugs for a 5,000 square foot house. She is putting them everywhere that she can think of. She is not accepting just placing them, she has them marked with lazers to her specifications. Lynn says whatever she wants. The bathtubs are placed, the media closet is wired, as is the future wall mount tv to come later. Jamie got her garden tub with the window over it.

They have had several univited visitors at all hours of the night, creating a need for a motion sensor alarm and arranging for police drive byes at night.

If that is not a deterant, Lynn has posted the sign pictured, If you plan on stealing remember I have a handgun carry permit and own a back hoe. Thanks for being honest.

Cassidy came over to play yesterday. While everyone was busy doing "big people" things, Cassidy and Tidbit got to lay down and take a nap with "Gampa"..

Of course after all the festivities, a certain little girl was all worn out. A quick power nap in the car and we are up and ready to go again.

Cassidy had a busy Christmas, first at her house and then at Grandma's. Blankets, Pajamas, pots & pans, kitchen set and baby dolls should keep her very busy for a while.
