Brave Little Bird

This little bird has built a nest in the middle of a parking spot out at the Moore trailer lot. It is completely in the open with three eggs no nest at all. She was very firm telling us to get back but I  don't see how she can hold up to a semi pulling a glass trailer. Paul put some cones in the front of the spot, hopefully she will hold out long enough for them to hatch. She is such a pretty bird, you hate to think of  anything happening to her or her eggs.

Day at the Aquarium

Today Robert Peters took a bunch of the youth to the Aquarium of the Smokies. Everyone had a great time. Seeing the sharks up close through the tunnel, jellyfish, seahorses. The penguins had a tunnel under them so you could come up in a bubble in their habitat that was really cool. The colorful frogs were really bright colors.

Of course Jamie went, touring the aquarium with a science teacher is new too.

More Recital Pictures...... What a ham..... I mean sweetheart!
How do you get a reaction out of a cat that thinks you are not worthy to play with? You sprinkle catnip on a towel and put it on the bed.

Princess smelled, rolled and attacked the towel. The dogs had no clue what was wrong with him.

One thing you don't forget though, the claws are still as sharp and just as fast..... Ouch!
Can you believe he is eleven years old now?

Cassidy had her dance recital tonight. She sang and danced to "The Teddy Bear Picnic" song. Aunt Jamie, Uncle Lynn, Uncle TJ, Grandma, Grandpa, Dad and Mom were all there to cheer her on.

Jamie and Lynn are diligently working on the tongue and groove ceiling at their house. It looks really great!
