Snow!!!

Can you believe it? It snowed today! The kids had a two hour delay from school. This cold windy stuff had better clear up before the wedding day next week.

A Bakery Near You

The sign is up! Today the mailbox and the opening soon banner went up on front of the building. The wet vacs came in and the Chamber of Commerce Membership plaque went up.

Coming Soon

We have finally done it. We made the big leap and have signed the lease for opening the bakery. It is a small building downtown with a small covered area next to it for picnic tables It will be full service with breads, cakes, danishes, cookies and everything else you can think of.

Last week we got all the utilities on and washed walls and floors. This week we pulled the old air conditioner and filled the space in to get ready for the hood. We have found the convection ovens, refrigerator, proofer, bread slicer, etc have been bought and await delivery. All we need now is a walk in and a sheeter.

We got the three compartment sink put in so now we can wash dishes.... Yeah!

The awning and sign go up this week to let people know something new is happening in the building. Praticing recipes is going on during the rest of this stuff, everyone we know is eating alot of fattening stuff.

Mommy got Cassidy a big bike like the other kids. While Grandpa was putting the pedals on, Cassie got to figure out that "hat". A few minutes of Mom's tutorial and off she went on her own. She was so excited we like to never got her to come in the house that night.

More Birthday

The birthday party lasted two hours. Cake, pizza and presents took longer than the bowling. The boys loved their presents especially the guitar and drum set.

Tammy was excited when she got a strike on the first throw. Mattie actually did better than most of us.

Cassidy wasn't sure about the shoes. Who would have thought they made bowling shoes in her size!

It's Birthday Time!

April is here. With Jennifer's birthday last weekend and Mattie and Timmy's birthdays this weekend, Easter next weekend, then the wedding April is a busy month.

Mattie & Timmy had a bowling party with some of their friends from school. Mattie's friend Harley beat everyone but Dad. Tammy and Matthew had a few strikes. We forgot the knife so we had to cut the cookie cake with a plastic knife, it didn't work that well.

Cassidy bowled, she sat down and Mommy helped her roll the ball. The first time she didn't push hard enough and it got stuck halfway down. The lady had to push it to get it going again. She loved licking the icing off the cake and helping pass out presents.
