It's Birthday Time!

April is here. With Jennifer's birthday last weekend and Mattie and Timmy's birthdays this weekend, Easter next weekend, then the wedding April is a busy month.

Mattie & Timmy had a bowling party with some of their friends from school. Mattie's friend Harley beat everyone but Dad. Tammy and Matthew had a few strikes. We forgot the knife so we had to cut the cookie cake with a plastic knife, it didn't work that well.

Cassidy bowled, she sat down and Mommy helped her roll the ball. The first time she didn't push hard enough and it got stuck halfway down. The lady had to push it to get it going again. She loved licking the icing off the cake and helping pass out presents.

Jennifer's New Hair

It's finally here. Jennifer's sixteenth birthday. What does she want? Car? Cell Phone? No, she wanted a new hair cut and colored professionally. After three hours at the salon, foiling, cutting, and eyebrow waxing the final result is in. She now looks like a sophisticated young adult. The long hair has been donated to locks of love to be made in to a wig for a cancer patient. She is so excited, she is now ready to go back to school and show everyone the new me!

Off to Spain!

It's time for spring break, and Christopher is off to Italy and Spain to sing. He spent yesterday catching up on everything. He had a hour layover today, but everything worked out.

Devin is off to see her mom for the break, making wedding plans among other things.

Celtic Woman Concert

We were lucky and recieved two tickets to Celtic Woman in concert Saturday night from the kids for Christmas. It was a wonderful concert, we had seats in the orchestra section. They performed for over two hours, with brand new songs and some old favorites. They get better every year and hopefully, they will be back next year.

Painting Day

Saturday Kasey had a craft day for all the kids. They had little ceramic figures ranging from dinosaurs to horses that they got to paint. Everyone had a great time and now we have new "masterpieces" for our shelves.

Grandpa and Cassidy

Grandpa and Cassidy were playing, her favorite thing is to climb on him and try to tickle him. Someday we will tell her he is not ticklish but for now "Dickle, Dickle, Dickle" is the game.

Connor's 16th Birthday Celebration

Connor had his big day. It's hard to believe he is really sixteen. Of course he wanted his hunting/fishing license for his birthday so he wouldn't have a gap in between last year and this years. Everyone was here so the kitchen was stuffed full of people.

It's that time of year, Matthew Harrison is getting ready to graduate. They took cap and gown pictures before the hair cut as you can see.

He also got the part of Lord Capulet in Romeo and Juliette. Between that and Band rehearsals all his free time seems to be taken.
